This optically isolated RS232 to RS422/485 converter features Automatic Send Data Control - no software drivers needed to control handshake lines. RS232 signals on DB9 female connector or terminal block. RS422/485 signals and power inputs connect to terminal blocks. External power required.

• 2 kV optical isolation on input/output; 500W surge suppression
• 19.2 kbps data rate; extends data up to 1.2 km
